Just reading an interesting history of the bridge and Tramway. All part of a scheme to connect Kendal, Lancaster, Preston to the Leeds Liverpool canal (at Whittle) and on to the Wigan coalfields. Promised ‘latest guidance’ from BC today. Not sure that will answer queries on how far we can cycle and if we can travel further afield to cycle. BC ‘waiting for information from GOVT + Sport England.’

Belatedly reading your inevitable tier 4 post. Sad to say for the first time ever ,looking forward to a vaccination. Thanks for the many rides last year and looking forward to more. Daily riding a turbo hamster wheel on a 56 year old bike in the garage.

Stephen Ref our Campag banter today. Veloce is the current entry level group-set. My Veloce is some 18 years old, when Mirage was the entry level groupset, I believe! Mirage I could only find listed to buy as ‘used, vintage etc’ !
