Grateful thanks to all the riders on yesterday’s ride following my ‘tumble’.
It was a dislocated finger which required 3 attempts to put back in place, 8 hours navigating the NHS system (no complaints as the staff were wonderful) and a transfer from Accrington to Blackburn hospital. The nurses were very impressed with Stephen’s splints and bandages.
Many thanks to Terry for driving me back to Chorley. Looking back, I dont think I could have managed to cycle back as I originally intended.
Hope to be back in the saddle soon and I do hope it did not spoil the riders enjoyment of the ride.
