Meet in the small car park on the right (travelling North on the A6) on Garstang road, Bilsborrow PR3 0RE, at 9.30 a.m. Sunday 19th September. The car park is situated just after the left turn into St Michaels Road (Guy’s Thatched Hamlet) and just before the right turn into Bilsborrow Lane (The Roebuck and the Premier Inn).
Another ride this week from Bilsborrow due to Chorley being cordoned off for no good reason other than some ritual political nonsense. A flat ride this time, and not too long in case of inclement weather. Route details as below. There is a 20p charge for the Wyre Toll Bridge. Lunch stop can be taken in Knott End, probably at Amy's Kitchen.

Start in the small car park on the right (travelling North on the A6) on Garstang road, Bilsborrow PR3 0RE. The car park is situated just after the left turn into St Michaels Road (Guy’s Thatched Hamlet) and just before the Right turn into Bilsborrow Lane (The Roebuck and the Premier Inn).
The route travels anti-clockwise a short distance up the A6 to Catterall and Garstang, then west to Pilling, Knott End and Preesall. From here the route follows the coastal road south to Hambleton, then east to cross the Wyre at the Cartford Toll Bridge (20p charge). From here on to Great Eccleston and Cuddy Hill, returning to Bilsborrow.
A similar route to "Fylde Coast and Lanes" in the opposite direction and including more lanes and coast.
