Route and Parking details as below. Please bring the usual emergency tools and puncture repair equipment. Emergency or daytime running lights are recommended.. Cash or card if you require lunch. Lunch stop will be at The Reading Rooms Cafe in Edgeworth at approx. 20 miles.
Total distance is 33 miles. quite hilly, but the hills are all longish and gentle rather than very steep climbs.

Start is Outside of Feniscowles and Pleasington Sports and Social Club, Livesey Branch Road (A6062), Blackburn BB2 5EH. There should be adequate on road parking in front of the social club and playing fields. Alternatively you can use Witton Park car park (BB2 2TP) and cycle up to the start. (Approx 2 miles/10 minute ride). You will need to pay £2 to use the Witton Car Park. There is some free parking on the other side of Witton Park.
Route is via Earcroft, Guide and Acre, taking NCN route 6 to Haslingden and Helmshore, joining NCN route 91 near the Textile Museum to Hazelhurst and Edgworth. The return leg is through Turton / Chapeltown and Belmont then up to Tockholes for the long descent back to Pleasington
