Getting Water Bottles Filled on Rides

I was under the impression it was obligatory for food outlets to provide water on demand, but on investigation I found this is not strictly true.
Apparently LICENSED PREMISES are obliged to provide tap water on request, though whether they can charge for the work involved is a grey area. Very few would. There are quite severe penalties for failure to comply. So although cafes usually will provide water they only have to if they sell alcohol. There is an APP available called REFILL which is supposed to signpost public water access including water fountains etc. but unfortunately it doesn’t work on my obsolete phone so I can’t check it out.
