Meet in the small car park on the right on the A6 (travelling North on the A6) on Garstang road, Bilsborrow PR3 0RE at 9.30 a.m. on Sunday 16th April.
Route and parking details as below. Please bring the usual emergency tools and puncture repair equipment. Lunch can be taken at Scorton Barn, or you may wish to use the coffee van if you prefer (cash or card required, but not sure if the van takes cards). The route crosses the Wyre at the toll bridge so 20p is required for this. Mainly flat route with one longish climb and descent.

This route is based on that used for the Lewis Balycki memorial ride.
Start is from the small car park on the right on the A6 (travelling North on the A6) on Garstang road, Bilsborrow PR3 0RE. This car park is situated just AFTER the left turn into St Michaels Road (Guy’s Thatched Hamlet) and just BEFORE the Right turn into Bilsborrow Lane (The Roebuck and the Premier Inn). (What3Words ///skim.cultivation.hillsides). There are no toilets at the start, but there are some in Great Eccleston on the way out.
The route is clockwise past Myerscough College to Inskip, Wharles, Elswick and Great Eccleston. You then need to cross the Wyre via the Cartford Toll bridge (20p charge) turning east to Nateby and Scorton before the ascent of Beasedale lane in the Forest of Bowland. Descending into Chipping turning South to skirting Longridge to Whittingham, Goosnargh and Inglewhite, before returning to Bilsborrow.
