Route and parking details as below. There is an alternative car park on Hallgate, Astley Village PR7 1NP, which is also free. You will have to ride through the park to the start.
Please bring the usual emergency tools and puncture repair equipment. Daytime running lights can be a good idea. *We also recommend all participants carry emergency contact details about their person*.
Total distance is 20 miles. NO ONE will be left behind.

Route commences at Astley Park gates, Chorley PR7 1JU.
Car Parking is conveniently located on Queens Road car park, PR7 1JU. This is next to the park gates. Turn right immediately after the park gates when entering Chorley from the Preston direction or M61 junction 8. Parking should be free after 5pm and all day Sunday.
Passing down Market Street then up George St., Lyons Lane and Brook St. to ride down Cowling Brow and Long Lane to Grimeford Lane. From here you skirt Blackrod via Little Scotland to Wigan Golf Club; then Standish, Hunger Hill and Wrightington, returning to Chorley via Charnock Richard.
