All car parks in Chorley are now pay only (Sundays excepted), including the Queens Road Car park adjacent to the park gates (£2 for 4 hours, £4 all day), and the main Astley Hall car park on Hallgate (£3 all day).
It should not be difficult to find street parking in Astley Village and Chorley's streets and cycle to the start.

Car Parking is conveniently located on Queens Road car park, PR7 1JU. This is next to the park gates. Turn right immediately after the park gates when entering Chorley from the Preston direction or M61 junction 8. Parking should be free after 5 p.m. and all day on Sunday.
