Sadly Terry passed away in St Catherines Hospice on Saturday 21st March. He was a stalwart of our cycling group and known to many others. Anyone who had ridden with him in the last two years would be familiar with his cancer diagnosis. He continued riding even through his many cycles of chemotherapy and was an example to those who wanted to keep going in adversity. He was an excellent athlete, recently defying his age and infirmity.
I will post details of his funeral when I have them, it will be at Charnock Richard Crematorium and all friends are welcome.
We will miss riding with Terry, I will miss discussing football etc. He was a very nice person, and we will miss him greatly. We both remember trying to keep up with him, on many rides. RIP Terry mate. Jane and Chris😢😢
How terribly sad. I did many rides with Terry and I will always remember him for his top notch conversation and bad jokes. He was always a glass half full. A top bloke who will be sorely missed by all.
Very sad indeed! Rode with Terry quite a few times. A great man and a true family man. He was so proud of his Children/Grandchildren…always telling us what they were up to. RIP Terry!! 🙏
