Meet in the Free Car Park at the Buckshaw Village Community Playing Fields (Buckshaw Bernabau) on Old Worden Lane, Buckshaw Village PR7 7AE at 10 a.m. on Wednesday 20th May. Route and further parking details as below. There are no toilets at the start.
Please bring the usual emergency tools and puncture repair equipment. Daytime running lights are also a good idea.
Lunch can be taken at Roots Cafe, can / card required.
Total distance is 30 miles. NO ONE will be left behind.

Start is from the Car Park at the Buckshaw Village Community Playing Fields (Buckshaw Bernabau) on Old Worden Lane, Buckshaw Village PR7 7AE (What3Words ///lamenting.wording.equity). The car park is free and usually quiet if there are no football matches in progress.
The route is the same as Chorley to Roots, though shorter. It heads North from Buckshaw Village, Leyland and Stanifield Lane, through Lostock Hall to Avenham Park. From here it goes through Plungington and smaller roads to Lower Bartle and Roots Cafe. Return route is via sections of the guild wheel and NCN route 55, through Cuerden Park back to Buckshaw Village.
