Route and parking details below. Please bring the usual emergency tools and puncture repair equipment. Emergency or daytime running lights are also a good idea. *We recommend all participants carry emergency contact details about their person*.
Lunch can be taken at the Velo Cafe in Croston, which hopefully will be one of the places it will be possible to eat if you are not accompanied by a mother. (Yes it is Mothers Day).

Start from the outside of Feniscowles and Pleasington Sports and Social Club, Livesey Branch Road (A6062), Blackburn BB2 5EH. There should be adequate on road parking in front of the social club and playing fields. Alternatively you can use Witton Park car park (BB2 2TP) and cycle up to the start (Approx 2 miles/10 minute ride). You will need to pay to use the Witton Car Park.
The route ascends up to Tockholes then over to Belmont Village and the easier side of the Belmont climb descending to Rivington and Adlington. From here it is through Coppull Moor and Wrightington to Croston.
Return is via Ulnes Walton, Moss Side, Clayton-le-Woods then through Cuerden Park to Whittle -le-Woods. Final leg is through Brindle and Riley Green back to Pleasington.
