This year sees the return of this previously annual event. It will take place on Sunday June 11th 2023. This is an opportunity to participate as a group ride. The event is run by the Rotary Clubs of Accrington and Clitheroe in aid of the Rosemere Cancer Centre. You do not have to raise money as such, but there is a fee to take part. Please book on our ride after securing your place. The route I have posted is based on the map posted on the website. Final details should now have been received by email. There are three distances on offer: 25, 60 and 100 miles. The 60 miles is the popular route for us but the routes do follow similar roads to some degree, but have different start times. It will be a hilly ride but is usually well organised with decent food provided at the food stops. Registration for the 60 miler is 7.30 to 9 a.m. Start is 7.45 to 9.15 a.m. I expect everyone will be available to register before 9 a.m.
