Hi Amanda and welcome to the Bikers. Yes, there’s usually a ride every Sunday although if the weather is awful as has been on occasions of late it might not happen.
You should as a group member, get an email when a ride appears on the site, the ride information we give is fairly comprehensive and we are not racing snakes so no chain gangs here! Average speeds are around 12mph or 20kph if you prefer, which is easier to achieve in a group but if it’s lumpy then that will drop a bit. S
There’s always a break for a cafe so there’s achance to have a chat and ask questions about stuff.
I did the Ribble Valley last year and while it’s tough, generally if you pace it correctly you’ll be fine if you build up gently over the year. I’ll probably do it again this year possibly some of the others will as well so you may have some company…..feed stops are great by the way!
