Not having seen the app in real time (it appears you have to sign up first) I have a healthy scepticism! I am not keen on everyone knowing where the group will be, even within a kilometre, when the car park is 25 miles away. If you were to make the rides private or restricted to the group this wouldn’t be any advantage over what we already have other than having to post on yet another site. There also seems to be a potential in the terms and privacy for details to be sent to advertisers. I can see it may be useful to Cyclists looking for rides in their area. As we currently seem to have good enough numbers on the rides I again am again sceptical it would increase those numbers and indeed whether we would want that. This is in view of the fact the last few rides posted on Lets Ride have generated zero participants.
