Yes, These local measures are really affecting our activities badly. My interpretation is that ideally “they” would like everyone in Bolton to stay there but that as a rule would be too unpopular. It seems to me bike rides of up to 6 can continue even for Boltonians as we are effectively a socially distanced activity outdoors. The problem is cafe stops where none of us are supposed to socialise as such, at least from Monday, and people from Bolton are not allowed to visit cafes. I assume if Cath were to come and bring sandwiches that may be within the rules. I don’t know either whether we could use the outdoor food hut at Glasson Dock which has outdoor tables. Is it classed as a takeaway? and would that mean anyone from Bolton could buy food there. Who knows.
