Further to my email about the circumstances leading to the death of Bob Ingram, I am posting a photograph of the damaged fire hydrant cover on Cowling Brow responsible for Bob coming off his bike. The Local authority apparently claims the manhole was inspected as satisfactory 4 weeks before the incident, which was on 14th August 2024. The solicitor is seeking evidence that the damage preceded this time. It is not present on the Google images street view of 2022. The hope is the image may jog somebody’s memory that it may have looked like this before 14th July or thereabouts.
