Meet at Billington War Memorial BB7 9JA, at 9.30 a.m. on Sunday 17th October. The route and parking details is as below. Lunch will be taken at the excellent Old Vicarage Tea Rooms at Tosside. This is a hilly route but non of the climbs are severe. The cafe is CASH ONLY. They do accept bank transfer so you could contact them in advance for their bank details if necessary. https://tossidetearoom.org. Please bring a mask in case this is required

Starts at Billington War Memorial BB7 9JA. Adjacent parking is available outside St.Augustines High School, Elker Lane, BB7 9JA, at weekends and during school holidays.

The Route Goes via Whalley, Great Mitton, climbing up to Cowark to descend to the Slaidburn road, crossing this to ascend around Easington fell to Tosside. Going around Easington fell avoids the very steep ascent out of Slaidburn. From Tosside is a descent to Grunsagill, then Gisburn. There is a short distance on the Burnley Road out of Gisburn before turning off to Rimington, Downham, Worston and Barrow, returning to Whalley and Billington.
