Starting from The Heritage Centre in Barrowford what3words: hothouse.miracle.scouts, head towards Colne then the climb up Skipton Old Road to Cononley. Crossing over the A65 it’s a climb up to Heights Lane and Cringles Lane followed by the long descent to Addingham then onto Bolton Abbey for a café stop.
Return is over the gated road to Embsay and Skipton then through Carleton and Elslack and Earby then back to the start.
There are a couple of long climbs on this route, mainly Skipton Old Road: 1.4 miles average 6% and from the A65 to Heights Lane which is longer with a similar gradient

There is limited free parking at the Heritage Centre and plenty of on street parking
