The route and details as below. Lunch will be taken at Shed 24 on the historic Hellifield station. Please bring a mask in case one is required and the usual puncture repair equipment and emergency tools. Cash or card if you intend to take lunch. Though we expect to return before dark please consider emergency or daytime running lights.

Route passes through Whalley, Worston, Downham, Chatburn, Sawley, Bolton by Bowland to Hellifield where there is a heritage railway station that is worth a visit. The station buffet is closed on Sunday and Monday.
Return is via Wigglesworth, Bolton By Bowland, Grindleton, Bashall Eaves, Great Mitton and Whalley. This is the same route as Billington to Hellifield almost circular with an extra 3 miles to take in the scenic Downham.
