Leaving from Astley Park gates, Chorley PR7 1JU
Car Parking is conveniently located on Queens Road car park, PR7 1JU. This is next to the park gates. Turn right immediately after the park gates when entering Chorley from the Preston direction or M61 junction 8. Parking is free after 5 p.m. on Weekdays and Saturdays and all day on Sundays.
The route is clockwise through Chorley to Charnock Richard, Welch Whittle following NCN 91 to Wrightington and Bispham Green. Thence to Lathom, through Ormskirk to Halsall. Return is on NCN 91 / 562 via Pinfold, Tarlscough, Rufford, Mawdsley and Eccleston, then taking Back Lane to Euxton and through Astley Park to the start.
