A scenic ride with ups and downs aplenty.

Meet at Billington War Memorial. Adjacent parking is available outside St.Augustines High School, Elker Lane, BB7 9JA, at Weekends and during School holidays.

The route heads for Ribchester but takes a detour up Gallows Lane on the way before climbing up to Jeffery Hill on the very quiet Forty Acre Lane. From here we plunge down and across towards Chipping, Whitewell and Dunsop Bridge for a quick refueling. If it's very busy we can use the cafe in Slaidburn as we pass it anyway. The climb out of Slaidburn and over Easington Fell follows before heading directly to Grindleton and a relativley gentle few miles back to the starting point
