The start is from the small car park on the right on the A6 (travelling North on the A6) on Garstang road, Bilsborrow PR3 0RE. This car park is situated just AFTER the left turn into St Michaels Road (Guy’s Thatched Hamlet) and just BEFORE the Right turn into Bilsborrow Lane (The Roebuck and the Premier Inn).
The route is the same as "Lytham Hall from Bilsborrow" but is a mile shorter and avoids the walk over the railway bridge in Lytham. It commences anti-clockwise crossing the A6 to pass Myerscough College to Great Eccleston, turning south to Elswick, east to Inskip then south to Kirkham. Crossing the Kirkham by-pass the route goes to Kellamergh, diverting to Bryning, curving back south and along the cycle path by the golf course into Lytham and the grounds of Lytham Hall.
The return is along the sea front, exiting Lytham along Preston Road, turning north through Wrea Green, past Ribby Village to Kirkham again, then east via Treales and north via back lanes to Bilsborrow.
Total distance is 42 miles, and very flat.
