Meet at Billington War Memorial, Billington, nr Whalley BB7 9JA on Sunday 29th May at 9.30 a.m. Route and Parking details as below. Adjacent parking available outside St Augustines High School, Elker Lane.
Please bring the usual emergency tools and puncture repair equipment. There is the option of an early food stop in Slaidburn at the Riverbank Tea Rooms and a return stop at The Nectar Cafe in Be A Garden Maker, after Wigglesworth. Please bring cash or a card if you require food.
A hilly route, though a large amount of the climbing is concentrated on the spectacular Cross of Greet.
Total distance is 56 miles. NO ONE will be left behind.

Meet at Billington War Memorial. Adjacent parking is available outside St.Augustines High School, Elker Lane, BB7 9JA, when the school is closed.

Route passes through Whalley to Bashall Eaves, Cow Ark, Newton then Slaidburn. There follows the climb over the Cross of Greet as far as Mewith Lane which we follow through Eldroth as far as Giggleswick Station, joining the A65 briefly before turning back south to Rathmell, Wigglesworth and Bolton by Bowland. Return is via Sawley, Grindleton, Waddington and the Edisford road to re-join the Mitton road back to Whalley.

Total distance will be 58.5 miles.
