This is a reprise of the ride which previously started from Buckshaw. Lunch can be taken in one if the cafes in Churchtown or we can wait until Burscough Bridge. Cash /Card if you require lunch.

Start is from Astley Park Gates, Chorley PR7 1JU. There is an adjacent Car Park on Queens Road which is free on Sundays and evenings after 5 p.m. (What3words///line.firmly.pose). There are toilets at Astley Hall on the other side of the park together with a further car park on Hallgate (PR7 1NP), but there is a charge of £3 for all day parking at all times.
The route is Anti-Clockwise through Buckshaw Village and Leyland, past Worden Park then following NCN 91 to Croston, Sollom, Mere Brow and Banks. From here through Crossens to Churchtown passing the Botanic Gardens. From here it goes along Moss and Wyke Lanes eventually to Burscough Bridge, returning via Bispham Green, Eccleston and Euxton.
