Stephen HiltonParticipantAfter a brief discussion about a group jersey at the weekend, Andrés has leapt into action and found a supplier who does not require a minimum quantity order, meaning anyone can order at any time. The current price is £63 each + postage. However if we order 10 the price goes down to £48. I am not sure what the appetite is for a group jersey so would be interested in feedback to see if it is worth a bulk order. Given the ethos of the group that anyone can come and go at any time, I do wonder if it would put people off if we all went about in corporate kit. That said it would be quite cool. There is no intention to turn the Bus Stop Bikers into a club. We would be grateful for opinions on the preferred option.I have emailed the options to all members. I am in favour of No 2, maybe No 3.

Laura PringleParticipantPersonally I wouldn’t buy one – I have enough jerseys already.
It would make us look like a club – and there are expectations to be met thereComments on the design offered:
I defo wouldn’t buy one unless there is a decent fitting proper ladies one – sorry lads but ‘unisex’ doesn’t cut it! Always too long in the back for us ladies so your pockets end up round your hips which isn’t comfortable and they usually don’t fit well around hips. Many of the ‘club’ type jerseys are a racing fit – for those with a fuller figure this may be a no-no. A relaxed fit would be better
Short sleeves fine for summer – but prob more useful given our weather round here having a long sleeve one
White looks great when it’s new but can go rather grey after a few washes and mucky rides! So blue better – lighter blue best – we need to be seen.
What fabric is it made from?

Paul CrowtherParticipantI’d agree that we need to be seen, hence id go for the third one (light blue back panel) and yes, white does end up being mucky grey rather quickly.
Sizing is always a weird one with regard to cycle tops. If I go into M&S for a shirt, I’m a medium every time. Cycle shirt sizing is always hit and miss. I have an XXL that fits perfectly!
Great designs Andres, yes,I’d buy one.June 10, 2021 at 1:38 pm #8601Peter Elliott
ParticipantI would buy one and agree with the posts above, the light blue is the best design.
Also agree with the sizing issue raised above, a proper accurate sizing chart would be required to ensure people are purchasing the correct sizeJune 10, 2021 at 4:29 pm #8603
Andrés MederosParticipantHi
They have versions to suit everyone and I can soon knock up another version if required.

Paul GabrielParticipantI think that I would buy one at £48, and get my family to buy me one at £63! As I am the archetypal ‘FLAB’ 2 man tent size would do! Happy to go with comments above about choice of colour. I take it that it would not be compulsory to wear on rides! A long sleeve version would be useful too!

Andrés MederosParticipantThere are a wide range of designs jersey types and sizes. To get to the 10x £48 we would need 10x a single design, so may be best to opt for one type of short sleeve for the summer. I can put the logos on any of them and they can be purchased at the individual prices for each model if needed.
Size chart is here:

Gary DownesParticipantHi, don’t join on rides much but would purchase when riding with the group. Agree sizes can be an issue with cycle tops. My option would be number 4.
