I’ve put the date (Sunday 12th June) in my diary. Twenty five miles tends to be a little short and I’d never do the One hundred miler. Sixty miles is do-able with plenty of group rides beforehand.

I found the hardest bit was coming back over Chaigley, felt a bit weary by then. Surprising how much extra up that was cos you think after Chipping it’ll be flat- hah!

Looks like the 2022 event has now been cancelled. Out of interest anyone know why?

Simply not enough entries, something like 38 in total if I remember correctly.

Thanks Paul. The 100 miles hasn’t been finalised yet but the 60 miler looks like the obvious one. Jubilee tower and the Trough with extra added insanity. Cannot see how they can make the 100 miler much harder though. I think I will register early and post it as a group ride in due course.

I’ve pencilled the 60 miler into my diary and if I’m not on hols in June I’ll be signing up to it.
If it’s as well run as some of the previous events it’s a ride heading through lovely countryside and with a great atmosphere

It is a smashing route and the feed stops are excellent. I’d like to try the 100 but it’s a bit out of my league I’m afraid, something to try on my own when there’s no shame in ringing SWMBO and shouting for help! Let me know if you do sign up
