Though it was raining in the morning it promptly stopped as we arrived at the start. The rest of the day was dry and mostly sunny with the cafe stop at Kitty’s up to the usual high standard. The icing on the cake for me was meeting legendary North West Framebuilder Steve Goff at the cafe stop after he had passed us several times en route.
