Preston has the Guild Wheel whilst Blackburn has the Weavers Wheel. This is a chance to try it out. The ride starts at Pleasington playing fields where free parking is available. The route is a mixture of canal towpath, gravel paths and tarmac. Is suitable for wider road tyres to anything above cyclo cross, gravel or mtb tyres. The route starts through a cycle path in the Pleasington Woods heading towards Cherry Tree where we pick up the canal to Mill Hill where we head to a cycle path through to Lower Darwen. The route then heads to Guide, Whitebirk, Brownhill, Pleckgate & Beardwood before returning via Pleasington. The café stop is at the end, using the facilities at Pavilion in the Park.
