Start is at Billington War Memorial, Billington, Whalley BB7 9JA. Adjacent parking is available outside St.Augustines High School, Elker Lane, BB7 9JA, at Weekends and during School holidays.
The route is roughly anti-clockwise through Whalley and Barrow, taking cycle lanes to Worston. Thence to Downham for a circuit around Rimington, returning via Chatburn and West Bradford to Waddington. There is a short detour at West Bradford along Eaves Hall Lane, which accesses a cafe at the Three Rivers Holiday Park. From Waddington head to the Clitheroe / Edisford Bridge area, then through Clitheroe and along Pendle Road crossing the A59 to Pendleton. Lastly a return to Whalley for an ascent of Painter Wood then through Old Langho back to the start.
