Blackburn – Longridge – Preston Reverse Loop

Start from  the outside of Feniscowles and Pleasington Sports and Social Club, Livesey Branch Road (A6062), Blackburn BB2 5EH. There should be adequate on road parking in front of the social club and playing fields. Alternatively you can use Witton Park car park (BB2 2TP) and cycle up to the start (Approx 2 miles/10 minute ride). You will need to pay to use the Witton Car Park.
The route is Clockwise along the main road to Riley Green before joining quieter roads to Gregson Lane and Walton-le-Dale, then passing through Avenham Park and Preston on the NCN 6. This follows through to Haighton and Longridge, then across to Ribchester. Return is through Dinkley, Langho and Wipshire to the Brownhill Roundabout before following Revidge Road through Blackburn to Witton, Cherry Tree and finally Pleasington.
