Another version of the Fylde Coast and Lanes routes. This contains a short diversion to The Lakeside Kitchen on Brickhouse Lane for a potential cafe stop.
Start is from the small car park on the right on the A6 (travelling North on the A6) on Garstang road, Bilsborrow PR3 0RE. This car park is situated just AFTER the left turn into St Michaels Road (Guy’s Thatched Hamlet) and just BEFORE the Right turn into Bilsborrow Lane (The Roebuck and the Premier Inn). (What3Words ///skim.cultivation.hillsides).
Route goes anti-clockwise, initially up the A6 , then veering off onto quiet roads to Catterall and Garstang. from Garstang it goes West then up to the coast around Pilling and back inland before completing a circuit of Knott End. From Knott end it goes South to Staynall, continuing East along Sower Carr and Whin Lane to cross the River Wyre at Cartford (20p toll). Return to Bilsborrow is then via Great Eccleston.
Total Distance is 37 miles.
