Start is from the small car park on the right on the A6 (travelling North on the A6) on Garstang road, Bilsborrow PR3 0RE. This car park is situated just AFTER the left turn into St Michaels Road (Guy’s Thatched Hamlet) and just BEFORE the Right turn into Bilsborrow Lane (The Roebuck and the Premier Inn).
The route follows NCN 6 North to Barnacre and Scorton, then Bay Horse following NCN 90 to Quernmore. It then turns East climbing up to the viewpoint at Jubilee Tower. There follows a fast descent to Marshaw before tackling the climb of the Trough of Bowland before descending to Dunsop Bridge. The final section is via Whitewell, Hesketh Lane and Inglewhite , returning to Bilsborrow.
